Waterton, again.

This was our first trip to Waterton of the summer. Here are some photos of the trip with Cass and Aiden.
Ty enjoying a nice bite of Nothing.....
We went to this place just past Waterton on the way to Pincher Creek and they serve authentic Mexican Food. It was really good. I got the fish tacos and maybe it was just because I was starving but they were sooooo good. It was fun to do something different than the usual pizza or wieners in Waterton.
 Playing with sugar
Cassandra ergo-ing it up with Aiden... we might be a little obsessed with our Ergo carriers. It was cold and windy by the lake but in the townsite, not cold or windy at all that day.
Noah enjoying the cool windy breeze.
Ty feeding his obsession with yogurt Tubes
 We love Waterton.
 Family photo by Cameron Falls.
 Aiden and Cass
Ty really wanted a picture of him in front of the falls. I'm posting a lot of them because he is SMILING!

LOVE my boy with glasses. (haha his legs ^^)

Me and my man!! Everytime we come back to Waterton we talk about how we met and all our cool experience together as "friends" before we actually started dating. There are so many amazing memories in Waterton for us.
It rained eventually so we kind of had to leave because there wasn't anywhere for us to hang out with babies for an extended period of time while it rained. Man we wish we had a cabin in Waterton. Here's a rainy photo from inside our car.

Mothers day, Sean came to play, and ty sleeping

A few random photos....

Me with my boys on Mothers Day... can't get a real good pic with these two.
Just having a drink of water instead of smiling for the camera... :)
Cousins Sean (Indie and Dan's son) came over for a few hours one day and the kids had fun playing together.

This was their favorite part. They had music going on in Noahs bedroom and they were dancing like little babies dance. It was awesome.
Uhmmmmm, this never happens. He just fell asleep in my bed so I crawling in next to him and posed for a sleeping photo. haha. I love snuggling him when he sleeps because it never happens when he's awake.

Noah's First Birthday

This is a little late, I know. I am finally getting to posting about Noah's 1st Birthday. We had family over for a little birthday party. Noah got plenty of attention... as you can tell in the photos. Everyone was wanting a picture with the sweet one year old. After I took photos of people with Noah, we printed mini little pictures off this instant polaroid printer and some they got to take them home.

Noah with Grandma and Grandpa Smith  (above and below)

 Noah enjoyed the balloons!

 Noah and Auntie Cass
Me and my baby boy. I just never want him to grow up. I wish he could stay this age forever.
Cousins (minus Aiden). It's hard to get a decent photo of all these kids.
Noah (eating his celery) and Auntie Jody
We were getting some big smiles from this boy.
Nate and Noah. 2nd cousins, and 5 days apart... both have parents named Amie (Amy) and Michael... wearing chambray tops and leggings... how more alike can they get? Well good thing they have their very own looks hey? :)
Also matching their shirts is Aiden and Noah. :)
 About to dig in
He sure did enjoy it. He took his time and relaxed while he ate his piece of chocolate birthday cake.

Michael and I feel so blessed to have Noah in our family. He sure adds a different dimension and so much happiness. Sometimes I think of how much happiness we would have missing out on if we hadn't added a second child to our family... It's insane how much we love him. I could just squish him forever.

Noah is ONE

I never got a chance to share these film photos Michael took the day Noah was born.

Today we celebrate our beautiful baby boy's first birthday. He has blessed our family in so many ways. Ty has loved having a little brother. They really are best friends. Michael and I have really enjoyed seeing their friendship and love for one another develop. There is nothing like being able to give your child a sibling. I never realized how different and individual my kids would be. It's so amazing to see Noah be his own little person. Noah is really just the sweetest little boy. He is a very friendly boy and loves to give smiles to everyone. Each night when I go into his room to check on him, I am overwhelmed by how much love I have for him. Seeing him sleep so peacefully reminds me of how sweet this time in his life is, and how blessed Michael and I are to be able to have children. It's been such an amazing experience to see him grow this past year into the beautiful one year old he now is. Noah, you are loved by SO many people. Happy 1st Birthday.

1000 pics

If you were looking for a photo overload of our family, you have come to the right place. It's been too long since I last posted and I wanted to do a little catch up of photos we have taken.
Noah being such a happy little boy.
Noah sleeping. I never take photos of his beautiful sleeping face.
 Look at those blue eyes!
One Saturday morning we took the kids to the Family Centre and they have this cool interactive projection on the floor. There were so many different settings, and this one was Michael's favorite. I think I won. :)
We sometimes take the kids to the gym at the church to play around and Michael shoots some hoops. Here's Noah with Grandpa Mendenhall
Maddy and Brooklyn came over to play with the boys! They had so much fun dancing on our fireplace.
And playdough is always more fun with a buddy.

What a good big brother! He LOVES to pull Noah in the wagon. He won't even let me do it.

Recently we have been going to Sunnyside school for the Stay and Play they do in the Kindergarden room on Friday mornings. They have play time, a snack, singing time, reading time, and this would be messy time. Ty has so much fun during the messy time. The week before this was colored spaghetti noodles which he ate.
 Me and Noah matchy matchy.
Noah zoning out during a show on TV... he doesn't usually watch TV, but he was obviously enjoying this.
We are always using our Chariot. We took the boys on a walk and stopped at Henderson to play with the rocks and leaves.

Noah and cousin Sean playing the piano together.
Ty and Noah sitting together... Awwww! Ty has a nice streak of blue hair from the Childrens Festival I took him to that morning where we went to see Mike the Knight.

I was in my room getting ready for the day and Michael said "Aw, Amie what did you do?"... The picture below explains what he was talking about. He said it looked so nice, he thought I did it to Ty.

And his beautiful smile. HAHAHAHAHA! "Miranda sings" anyone? (maybe no one knows who or what that is)
Me and my almost ONE year old. Tear...

It's Easter Sunday today and we had Easter baskets for the boys and did a little egg hunt in the backyard. They were also so lucky to do another hunt and G&G Mendenhalls after dinner.
This is Ty's excited face. He really did enjoy it.
Noah was enjoying the wind after his morning nap.
This boy HAS to be teething. What a little whiner. :) LOVE HIM.

Enjoying the contents of the eggs.

Michael is taking paternity leave right now. (The last 2 weeks of Noah's 1st year). It was initially to be used to do updates in the basement but we have been super slacking. We have been enjoying chilling at home with the boys, or going on walks. This week will be Noah's 1st birthday. I will definitely be doing a post for my special little 1 year old.
